About the role
The People Operations Analyst supports the delivery of efficient, accurate, and compliant People Operations processes across North America. This temporary assignment provides additional support during a high-volume period and key operational initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the full employee lifecycle for North America by processing employee transactions from hire through termination in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process employee data changes including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, organizational updates, leaves, terminations, and personal information updates within Workday.
- Cook up onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a seamless employee experience while meeting established service levels and compliance requirements.
- Review HR transactions for accuracy and completeness, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and other cross-functional teams to resolve employee transaction requests and operational inquiries.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with record retention requirements.
- Monitor shared team queues and respond to employee and stakeholder inquiries, providing timely, professional customer service.
- Aid with audits, reporting, and data validation activities to ensure the accuracy of HR records and support compliance initiatives.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the enhancement of People Operations processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Support special projects and other operational activities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to commit to a 5-month temporary assignment, with flexibility for a possible extension based on business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or People Operations supporting employee lifecycle transactions.
- Experience processing HR transactions within an HRIS; Workday experience is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of HR processes including onboarding, employee data management, and offboarding.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
