Job description: Job Description About the Team The Human Resources team supports the organization's most valuable asset, its people. The team partners with business leaders and employees to attract, develop, engage, and retain talent while fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Working within a manufacturing environment, the HR team supports recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training and development, compliance, and employee relations initiatives that contribute to organizational success. The position is based in North Mankato, Minnesota. What You Can Look Forward to as Human Resources Intern: Assist with recruiting activities, including interview scheduling and applicant tracking. Support onboarding processes and new hire orientation activities. Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Assist with employee engagement, recognition, and communication programs. Coordinate training activities and maintain training records. Support HR reporting, audits, and compliance-related initiatives. Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement efforts. Gain exposure to multiple HR disciplines within a manufacturing organization. Collaborate with employees, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Perform additional duties and assignments as needed to support the Human Resources function. Your Profile as Human Resources Intern: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, or a related field. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated professionalism and a willingness to learn. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Previous internship, administrative, customer service, or office experience is preferred but not required. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
