HR Intern

What You'll Do
- Provide administrative and operational support to the HR team
- Aid with onboarding coordination for new hires, including scheduling, document collection, and new hire communications
- Support employee lifecycle administration, including employee data updates, personnel file maintenance, and HR system support
- Cook up meetings, trainings, and employee communications across corporate and retail teams
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure documentation is organized and up to date
- Aid with processing employment-related paperwork and tracking completion of required documents
- Aid with payroll, benefits, and leave administration support tasks as directed by the HR team
- Prepare trackers, reports, presentations, and other HR administrative materials
- Support employee engagement initiatives, onboarding activities, and internal events
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and business information
- Aid with special projects and additional administrative support duties as assigned
Experience You Need To Be Successful
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or recent graduate-level education is preferred.
- Previous internship, administrative, customer service, retail, hospitality, or office support experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and collaborative approach
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar administrative systems
- Experience with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, or scheduling tools is a plus
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating cross-functionally with multiple teams
- Interest in Human Resources, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, or employee experience preferred

Compensation
The compensation for this position is $25 - $30 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate and may vary depending on factors including (but not limited to): relevant knowledge and experience, skills, education, certifications, overall qualifications, and your specific work location.
