About the role
The HR Generalist II is responsible for assisting the Human Resources team in the management of employee relations topics, including benefit administration and leave coordination.
Responsibilities
- Partner with employees and management to implement various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
- Assist the Human Resources team in the management of employee relations topics to include benefit administration and leave coordination (STD/FMLA/LTD, etc).
- Conduct new hire orientation in coordination with the Global Talent Acquisition.
- Administer the exit interview process including drafting exit paperwork, submitting terminations in the HRIS system and conducting exit interviews.
- Support the recruitment process throughout the recruitment life cycle.
- Manage the payroll processes for site, including but not limited to: payroll review/submission, paid time off processes, and FMLA case management.
- Support immigration processes in coordination with the Immigration team.
- Create and maintain personnel files.
- Participate in HR staff meetings and attend other meetings / seminars in the organization as needed.
- Administer and/or support local wellness programs; encourage participation and local buy-in.
- Responsible for entry of employment data in HRIS systems, including myHRSuite HR Master Data module and Peoplesoft.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Organizational Development, Labor Relations, or related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of HR (i.e., working as a Recruiter, HR Specialist, HR Generalist, HR Manager, etc.)
- Knowledge of government regulations and employment law.
- Experience with an HRIS system and maintenance of related data and employee records
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management
