HR Generalist II

About the role

This is a professional position using independent judgment to manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the Human Resources department. Areas of responsibility include customer service and people services, benefits, leaves of absence, HRIS administration and recordkeeping, and training. This work requires collaboration in various contexts, a high level of self-sufficiency, organization, flexibility, self-motivation, and the ability to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.

This role requires onsite presence at a Rain for Rent office and/or branch location. Except for limited circumstances, remote and/or hybrid options are not offered at this time.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Onboarding
  • Assists Recruiting Coordinator with pre-employment tasks as necessary
  • Assists with new hire communication and schedules onboarding meetings
  • Assists with new hire processing
  • May assist with recruiting-related events as requested
• Benefits Administration
  • Provides customer service for new hires and current employees
  • Conducts education and training on benefits
  • Processes monthly bills to Accounts Payable for vendor payments
  • Files and sends documents to Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) as requested
  • Generates recurring reports and performs audits as requested
  • Processes adjustments and reimbursements as requested
• Leaves of Absence
  • Provides employee support for leaves of absence
  • Initiates internal HR communication when a new leave is started
  • Makes changes in HRIS and other systems
  • Collaborates with third-party Absence Management Services
  • Administers long-term and short-term disability setup
• Prevailing Wage and Payroll
  • Provides customer service for employees and managers
  • Performs weekly meal penalty auditing
• HRIS and Recordkeeping
  • Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs
  • Provides customer service related to system use, password resets, and troubleshooting
  • Processes employment-related actions in HRIS (UKG) and maintains related records
  • Uses system-delivered reports and filters to provide information to business partners, managers, or third-party vendors
  • Manages the online HR help desk platform (Zoho Desk)

Pay

Estimated salary: $73,000–$80,000 annually
