About the role
CCI is a nationwide full-service real estate platform focusing on acquisition, asset management, property management, and development. With a portfolio of around 8,000 apartments and townhomes, CCI specializes in providing affordable housing for seniors and persons with disabilities. The company also manages a diverse portfolio of other real estate assets, including traditional multifamily rentals, office, and light industrial uses. CCI employs approximately 400 Teammates across 30 states, and they are currently expanding.
Responsibilities
- Support various areas of the Human Resources department, including talent acquisition, onboarding, teammate relations, HR systems, and training support.
- Assist managers with HR policies and procedures, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, assessments, and candidate workflows.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Use HRIS and other systems to enter and update employee data, run reports, and address discrepancies.
- Collaborate on department projects and initiatives, as assigned.
- Engage teammates through programs and events to improve morale, motivation, and satisfaction.
- Analyze and report HR metrics, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration tasks, including training to run Payroll and a backup to the Payroll and Benefits Administrator.
- Coordinate and assist in delivering training sessions on HR topics, including onboarding and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of Human Resources experience preferred; recent HR education or internship experience also considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field a plus.
- HR certification (aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus.
