About the role
As an HR Generalist at DAS Aviation, you will be a key member of the Shared Services team, supporting a variety of HR and operational functions across the company. The position is full‑time and onsite in Grandview, Texas, with occasional travel to other DAS locations. Responsibilities
- Maintain employee records, document and process changes in employment status, and manage electronic employee files.
- Conduct full‑cycle recruiting, from job posting to pre‑employment screenings.
- Support onboarding by scheduling start dates, facilitating orientation, and assisting new hires with role transitions.
- Handle off‑boarding tasks, including exit interviews and paperwork processing.
- Serve as a central point of contact for employee inquiries, coordinating HR processes and ensuring clear communication.
- Assist with additional HR functions such as employee engagement, benefits administration, and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (preferred) or 2‑5 years equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or passport (ideal but not mandatory).
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 10 lb, routine walking, bending, stooping, sitting, and extended desk work.
- Willingness to travel between DAS locations in the Dallas area; valid driver’s license required.
- Equipment: laptop with Windows, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant programs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and applicant tracking systems.
- Familiarity with project‑management tools such as Monday.com, Smartsheets, or Asana (highly preferred).
