HR Coordinator (Part-Time)
This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing operational HR support with employee-facing responsibilities, bringing strong follow-through, adaptability, and a customer-first mindset to a growing multi-location organization. This role is on-site in Portland, Oregon, working three days per week for approximately 20–25 hours.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations, including employee records maintenance, HRIS administration, and general HR coordination across multiple locations.
- Assist with recruiting coordination, candidate scheduling, job postings, and new hire onboarding activities using HR systems and applicant tracking tools.
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR processes, benefits, workers’ compensation claims, and general employee support.
- Help support evolving HR initiatives, including employee lifecycle processes, multi-state workforce administration, and operational support for business growth.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of HR coordination or generalist experience supporting multi-location and/or multi-state workforces.
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, including HRIS administration, workflows, and employee data management.
- Experience supporting workers’ compensation processes, employee lifecycle activities, and HR compliance.
- Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling sensitive matters.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal oversight.
Pay
$29–$31/hr. (DOE)
