Accountabilities
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and employment documentation.
- Manage onboarding processes for new team members, ensuring all required documentation, training, and orientation activities are completed efficiently.
- Track and maintain compliance requirements, including certifications, background checks, insurance documentation, and workforce-related obligations.
- Maintain accurate compliance, training, and employee records to ensure ongoing audit readiness.
- Organize and coordinate internal and external training programs, including eLearning completion and professional development initiatives.
- Manage workforce scheduling processes, including roster updates, shift changes, leave coverage, and operational coordination.
- Conduct internal audits of employee records, participant documentation, and organizational processes to identify improvements and maintain compliance.
- Auxiliary with policy updates, compliance reviews, reporting, and documentation aligned with relevant industry standards.
- Collaborate with external training providers to support professional development pathways and workforce capability building.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, compliance, workforce coordination, or a related role within the disability services, community services, or healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and relevant Australian workplace regulations.
- Experience managing onboarding processes, training coordination, employee documentation, and compliance tracking.
- Knowledge of workforce awards and employment standards, including familiarity with the SCHADS Award.
- Proven ability to conduct internal audits, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records for leadership review.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a people-focused and collaborative approach.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Comfortable using HR systems, compliance platforms, and digital tools to manage workforce processes.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to improving operational efficiency and employee experience.
