About the role
The HR Administrator supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department by managing employee documentation, onboarding, systems auditing, and general administrative support. This role is critical to ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Employee Administration & Documentation:
- Process and manage employee separation notices in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare and administer attendance-related documentation, including attendance contracts
- Maintain and fulfill employee check stub requests
- Cook and distribute 90-day evaluation notices
- Administer 90-day benefits eligibility and insurance enrollment processes
- Maintain organized and up-to-date new hire folders
- Ensure completion and accuracy of all new employee paperwork
- Cook and send food orders for employees
- Systems Management & Auditing:
- Conduct regular audits and tracking across all HR systems (e.g., Portal, ClickSend, CultureWise)
- Ensure data accuracy, system compliance, and timely updates across platforms
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding processes, including weekly onboarding meetings
- Manage employee identification processes such as photos and badge coordination
- Lead and support ongoing employee photo initiatives and related projects
- Conduct post-interview follow-ups and pre-employment checks
- Employee Relations & Support:
- Provide assistance with employee write-ups and disciplinary documentation
- Support department/supervisor changes, including processing and documentation updates
- Aid with employee-related inquiries and administrative requests
- Recruitment & Workforce Planning:
- Participate in weekly recruiting check-ins to review hiring progress and needs
- Support recruitment processes through coordination and communication
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR administrative or support role
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency with HR systems/software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service orientation toward employees at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
