Nature Of Duties
- Inputs employee personal data into human resources information system (HRIS).
- Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new hire, change of status, performance evaluations, etc.
- Counsels employees on questions, issues, and matters related to their employment.
- Serves as a resource for employees on questions, issues, and matters related to their employment.
- Conducts new hire orientations.
- Prepares reports using HRIS based on headcount, recruitment, attrition, and other metrics.
- Serves as a liaison between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinates the onboarding process, including processing background checks, assembling new hire packages, conducting reference checks, and completing new hire orientation.
- Manages job posting process and routes hiring requisitions for approval.
- Manages information tracking for various HR-related projected.
- Works with agency partners to facilitate staffing.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience a significant asset.
- Previous experience in human resources or related fields is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Personable individual who is able to build professional relationships across the organization, enabling a high degree of teamwork.
- Aptitude for coordination and organizational activities.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.
