About the role
The HR Admin plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources function by ensuring accurate documentation, efficient HR processes, and a high level of employee support and engagement. This position manages a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including recruiting coordination, file management, employee communications, HR systems support, and plant-floor employee services.
Responsibilities
- Manage the HireRight background check process, including initiating screenings, collecting documentation, and communicating with candidates
- Coordinate hourly recruiting activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and logistics
- Support onboarding processes, including Dayforce account setup, new hire orientation, and documentation tracking
- Maintain employee training records, including sign-offs, cross-training matrices, and SOP documentation
- Organize and upload personnel files (e.g., onboarding documents, background checks, corrective actions, promotions) to ensure compliance and accessibility
- Maintain accurate HRIS records (Dayforce/HR Link) and assist employees with system access and troubleshooting
- Draft and distribute internal communications to plant employees
- Serve as a point of contact for general employee inquiries and HR assistance
- Aid in employee programs, events, and recognition initiatives
- Perform additional duties as needed
Knowledge/Education
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of HR or administrative support experience is required.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce)
- Experience with Smartsheet and/or ERP/MRP systems is a plus
