About the role
This position is a Contract position based out of Janesville, WI.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the onboarding process for new hires, including pre-employment paperwork, orientation scheduling, and system setup.
- Assist employees with payroll-related questions and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
- Support benefits enrollment and assist with related inquiries.
- Process employment changes including new hires, terminations, transfers, and status updates.
- Prepare HR reports, employee communications, and administrative documentation.
- Aid with employment verification requests, audits, and compliance activities.
Essential Skills
- 1-3 years of HR experience.
- Knowledge of HR processes including onboarding, employee records, and payroll support.
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Willingness to help out in various areas during transition periods.
- Experience in HR administration and clerical support.
Work Environment
The work environment involves using HRIS, payroll systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Employees are expected to maintain a professional demeanor, handle confidential information with discretion, and provide excellent customer service.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
