Responsibilities
- Lead the HR department, including supervising HR staff and providing ongoing guidance and training.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive organizational performance.
- Oversee recruitment, retention, and employee engagement strategies to ensure talent acquisition aligns with organizational needs.
- Manage the performance management process, including performance evaluations, coaching, and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide counsel to senior leadership on HR-related issues, including organizational development, conflict resolution, and labor relations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and stay informed of changes.
- Conduct employee relations activities, including resolving complex employee complaints and disputes.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
- Oversee HR metrics and reporting, ensuring that data supports strategic decision-making and business planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and employee relations strategies.
- Proven ability to drive change and manage complex HR projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
