Housing Support Services Coordinator

About the role

Under general direction, coordinates and supervises Housing Authority supportive services, housing counseling, and Family Self-Sufficiency programs. Provides housing counseling, develops housing stability initiatives, supervises program staff, and builds community partnerships to improve outcomes for Housing Authority participants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Public Administration, Counseling, or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in housing programs, social services, case management, program administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HUD Housing Counseling Certification Exam must be completed within 12 months of hire.
• Valid State of Iowa driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Pay

Salary Range: $74,963.20 - $106,204.80 (starting wage contingent upon experience)

Schedule

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
