Housing Stability Coordinator-DV

About the role

The Housing Stability Coordinator-Domestic Violence position is a Full Time benefit eligible position, Monday – Friday 8:30 am - 5:00pm, occasional nights and weekends at our Niagara Falls office located at 607 Walnut Ave. with travel throughout assigned portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments
• Develop individualized service plans
• Deliver ongoing case management and advocacy
• Support residents in securing and maintaining safe, quality, affordable housing
• Facilitate safety planning and crisis intervention
• Make referrals to community-based resources

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field
• Experience working with individuals experiencing housing instability, particularly those who have experienced victimization
• Knowledge of domestic violence and other forms of crime
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Pass a background check and drug screening

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Pay

Salary range is $25-$28/hr.
