Primary Job Responsibilities
- Conduct regular one-on-one supervision meetings
- Support coordinators in participant strategy development
- Reinforce SEI service delivery expectations and workflows
- Provide coaching around engagement, documentation, case planning, and housing stabilization
- Monitor workload organization, follow-through, and accountability
- Support implementation of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and participant-centered practices
- Reinforce Assertive Engagement and relationship-based service approaches
Program Operations & Workflow Oversight
- Maintain program workflows and participant movement
- Oversee caseload organization and operational consistency
- Ensure coordinators are utilizing required tools, trackers, and systems
- Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, or barriers
- Support continuous improvement efforts and workflow refinement
- Auxiliary with implementation of departmental systems and standard operating procedures
Compliance, Documentation & Data Oversight
- Review participant files, case notes, and program documentation
- Ensure compliance with SEI, HSD, HMIS/WellSky, and funding requirements
- Maintain data quality, timeliness, and documentation standards
- Support staff in maintaining accurate participant records
- Monitor program performance measures and reporting practices
- Auxiliary with preparation for audits, monitoring, and compliance reviews
Participant Service Strategy & Housing Stability
- Support coordinators in developing individualized housing stabilization strategies
- Review participant progress, barriers, and engagement approaches
- Reinforce participant-centered planning and service coordination
- Auxiliary with financial assistance planning and spending strategies
- Encourage long-term housing stability and coordinated care approaches
Collaboration & Cross-System Coordination
- Collaborate with the Housing Program Manager and leadership team
- Participate in case conferencing, coordinated access meetings, and program meetings
- Maintain relationships with landlords, community partners, and service providers
- Coordinate with external systems supporting participant housing stability
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in homeless housing, supportive housing, case management, housing navigation, or related human services work
- Previous supervisory, coaching, or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of housing stability work, participant engagement, trauma-informed care, crisis response, and barrier reduction strategies
- Ability to recognize patterns, identify workflow or service gaps, and support staff through problem-solving and accountability
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to support, coach, and guide staff effectively
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience managing documentation systems, workflows, deadlines, follow-through, and compliance expectations consistently
- Experience reviewing documentation, tracking program expectations, and supporting data quality and service consistency
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and web-based case management systems
- Basic understanding of AI-assisted tools, digital workflow systems, and technology-supported administrative processes preferred
- Experience with HMIS/WellSky, Coordinated Access, Housing First, Assertive Engagement, or similar housing program models preferred
- Ability to balance supportive leadership with structure, accountability, and operational consistency
- Demonstrated critical thinking, adaptability, and ability to navigate fast-paced and evolving environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Oregon driver’s license and ability to meet SEI driving requirements
