Responsibilities

• Create and implement the housekeeping training program, focusing on safety and chemical compliance.
• Conduct departmental and on-the-job training for housekeeping staff, maintaining a log of all hosts from hire date through tenure.
• Scoreboard for spot audits and inspections, maintaining logs and records.
• Supervise floor inspectors to ensure the highest quality of unit cleanliness and compliance with departmental and resort Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager, and Executive Housekeeper in supervising housekeeping hosts and providing a positive work environment.
• Motivate, coach, and counsel hosts for excellence and continual improvement.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning by housekeeping staff to ensure quality standards are met; identify and resolve quality problems.
• Inspect public space areas to ensure quality standards are met and maintained; identify and resolve quality problems.
• Evaluate systems, analyze data, evaluate products, and establish quality control procedures. Monitor cleaning supplies, keep inventory, and order when necessary.
• Ensure proper maintenance is provided to extend the useful life of assets and the dependability of equipment.
