Housekeeping Manager

The Housekeeping Manager position at Hotel Jerome, part of the Auberge Collection, is a full-time, year-round, exempt role located in Aspen, Colorado. The position oversees and leads the housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property, conducting inspections and implementing procedures to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, including ordering, stocking, and inventory control, to ensure adequate supplies for daily operations.
- Address guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop and manage the housekeeping department budget, monitoring expenses, labor costs, and purchasing to optimize efficiency and meet financial goals.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in housekeeping roles, with progressively increasing responsibilities, demonstrating expertise in cleaning procedures, staff supervision, and quality control.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team, foster a positive work environment, and achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The targeted compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
Schedule
This is a full-time, year-round position requiring flexibility to cover various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
