Housekeeping Manager

Overview

The Housekeeping Manager will assist in the management, direction, and coordination of all functions of the housekeeping and laundry departments. To maintain impeccable levels of cleanliness and upkeep. To ensure cost controls are in place.

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards of cleanliness and a consistent guest experience and ability to execute all Omni Hotels facility standards and guidelines.
• Ensures a highly motivated and trained staff that continually strives for excellence in service and cleanliness.
• Affords assistance with monitoring and controlling labor costs for Housekeeping department, achieving targeted payroll.
• Maintains Housekeeping inventories to ensure adequate supplies are always available.
• Oversees laundry operations to ensure timeliness of linen production.
• Ensures that the daily performance goals and responsibilities are being met consistently, effectively, and efficiently.
• Ensures a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury or accident.
• Performs any other duties required by senior management.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of two years previous supervisory experience or one year of management experience in Housekeeping.
• Must possess the ability to handle stressful daily operations.
• Strong computer and technical skills to include on-line purchasing systems.
• Must be passionate about providing warm, engaging, and personalized service.
• Ability to always maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed during busy times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual preferred.
