About the role
The Housekeeping Manager oversees the entire housekeeping area, including public areas and night cleaning. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to safety and security policies, managing staff training, development, and scheduling, and promoting a positive atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing housekeeping operations
- Manage staff training, development, and scheduling
- Promote an atmosphere that ensures customer and associate satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with safety and security policies
- Handle special needs of VIP guests and foreign dignitaries (when applicable)
Requirements
- Experience with turndown service and special guest needs
- Hotel/Hospitality degree preferred
- Progressive hotel Rooms Management experience of 2-3 years
- Service-oriented style and professional presentation skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, and exceptional customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
