Responsibilities
- Supervise assigned shift at the Eliza Shirley House Resolution Center
- Assist Residential Advisors (RA) to support residents
- Administer house rules regarding resident conduct, fire safety, room conditions, and curfew restrictions
- Conduct house and room checks
- Answer the telephone, greet visitors, check-in new residents, check-out departing residents
- Prepare a House report, manage sign-in logs, call residents to meals, monitor mealtimes, respond to emergencies
- Ensure residents are evacuated safely and efficiently in case of emergencies
- Respond to residents' needs and requests
- Document and communicate issues and concerns to Operations Manager, Assistant Directors, and Director
- Communicate effectively with other house management shifts
- Provide coverage during assigned shift as needed to support safe staffing of ESHRC
- Rotate on-call weekend shift for staff call-outs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior residential or customer service work experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak well in English
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel programs
- Proficiency in utilizing the internet
- Completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter
- Mandatory Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153, including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check
