About the role
The DSP III House Manager position is a full-time role with flexible hours including some on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate a residential program for individuals with intellectual disability and potentially behavior problems.
- Coordinate efforts with an interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Serve as a supervisor for approximately six to eight DSP I & II level staff members.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with less than two years of employment experience working with individuals with intellectual disability.
- Alternatively, an Associate's Degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and less than four years of work experience with intellectual disabilities, including at least two years.
- A High School diploma or equivalent education and three years of work experience with intellectual disabilities, along with supervisory experience.
Qualifications
- Preference will be given to applicants who bring supervisory experience.
- Experience working with mentally, emotionally ill, and/or behaviorally challenged individuals, or those with autism.
- Counseling education and/or experience.
- Teaching and/or other experience in the field of education.
- Nursing, nurse's aide, or other experience in the field of health care.
