Hourly Manager

About the role

Shift Managers ensure each shift runs smoothly. Responsibilities include training new associates, setting an example of remaining calm, opening and closing the store, maintaining the highest product standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fun, clean, family-friendly environment without fryers or grills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations to ensure smooth execution
• Train new associates and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
• Lead by example in maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced environment
• Open and close the store
• Uphold product quality and customer service excellence
• Work all shifts on the floor, serving guests and supporting staff

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• 6+ months of proven management experience in food service or a related leadership role
• Ability to work physically demanding shifts, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 55 pounds
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor
• Full-time availability, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Solid employment track record with positive references

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 pounds
• Occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps
• Constant use of computers, point-of-sale registers, and fountain equipment
• Frequent flexing or rotation of the wrist and spine
• Constant reaching, turning, and precision work around the fountain area
• Constant verbal communication and clarity of vision at near and far distances
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
