Host an International High School Exchange Student (Horn Lake, MS)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for an international teen
• Attend the student's local high school classes
• Help the student adjust to life in the new country
• Ensure the student has access to medical care if needed
• Manage the student's personal expenses
• Participate in cultural activities and events

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Willingness to live with the student for a school year or semester
• Ability to provide a stable home environment
• Basic understanding of English
• Medical insurance for the student

Qualifications

• Open-minded and respectful towards the student's customs and traditions
