Host an International High School Exchange Student (Biloxi, MS)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for the exchange student.
• Help the exchange student adjust to a new culture and language.
• Attend school events and activities with the exchange student.
• Ensure the exchange student has access to healthcare and emergency support.
• Encourage the exchange student to participate in community activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a stable home environment.
• Be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to provide meals and living space for the exchange student.

Qualifications

• Experience living and working internationally is a plus.
• Passion for cultural exchange and diversity.
• Ability to adapt to new situations and be flexible.
