Host an International High School Exchange Student (Oxford, MS)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Attend your local high school with the exchange student
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the exchange student
• Help the exchange student adjust to life in your home country
• Encourage the exchange student to participate in community activities
• Ensure the exchange student has access to medical care if needed

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Willing to provide a safe and welcoming environment for the exchange student
• Have a stable income and reliable transportation
• Be able to communicate effectively in English
• Have a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience living and working internationally is a plus
• Ability to adapt to new cultures and lifestyles
• Open-mindedness and willingness to learn about different cultures
