Host an International High School Exchange Student (Springfield, M0)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for an international student.
• Attend the student's local high school classes.
• Help the student adjust to life in the new country and culture.
• Ensure the student has access to medical care if needed.
• Support the student in their studies and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willingness to provide a safe and welcoming home environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Availability to host the student for a full school year or semester.
• Medical insurance coverage for the student.

Qualifications

• Experience living and working internationally is a plus.
• Passion for cultural exchange and diversity.
• Open-mindedness to new experiences and cultures.
