About the role
The Hospitality Lead Front Desk position offers career advancement in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization. Key responsibilities include supporting the vision and goals of the General Manager, assisting in the creation and implementation of new service initiatives, and managing daily operations such as guest check-ins/check-outs, phone handling, and resolving guest issues.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a hands-on leader and visible front office team member who leads by example
- Maintains positive working relationships with all other departments
- Monitors departmental service levels and acts accordingly
- Assists with internal audits to ensure compliance with corporate SOPs and QA standards
- Trains and mentors staff members
- Works all shifts as needed, including being the Manager on Duty as required
- Handles guest inquiries and concerns
- Manages the room matrix, discrepant reservations, and inventory
- Monitors front desk controls, cash drawers, change given, and key inventories
- Follows up on maintenance/housekeeping requests
- Ensures guest satisfaction by addressing their needs
- Ability to step into any role as necessary
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel/resort operations, preferably in vacation ownership
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with guests, Team Members, and the general public
- Knowledge of daily operations of the front desk, reservations, and problem resolution
- AS400/TSW experience preferred
- Ability to supervise a staff of Team Members
- Knowledge of Vacation Ownership is preferred

Pay
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Shift work is required, including weekends and holidays.
