About the Role
This position provides clerical, data and financial management, and operational coordination for the department. Utilizes exceptional organizational, customer service, and communication skills. Exercises independent judgment and confidentiality in assisting with operational details.
Responsibilities
- Manage clerical, data, and financial tasks for the department.
- Coordinate operational details with independent judgment and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with customers and follow instructions.
- Read and understand manuals, perform calculations, and prioritize work assignments.
- Conceptualize and formulate finished products.
- Performance manage suppliers and contractors.
- Use various computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Manage database systems.
- Manage time and materials efficiently to complete work assignments with high quality at the lowest cost.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and achieve department goals.
Requirements
- High School diploma plus specialized training (minimum 6 months).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working as an office manager or department assistant.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Verbal and numerical ability to read manuals and perform calculations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience with database management.
- Ability to manage time, materials, and suppliers efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of formal training in data management, accounting, purchasing, or office management.
- Training in Microsoft Teams, Webex, and SharePoint.
- 5 or more years of experience as an office manager or department assistant in a healthcare environment.
