About the role
This position provides clerical, data and financial management, and operational coordination for the department. Utilizes exceptional organizational, customer service, and communication skills. Exercises independent judgment and confidentiality in assisting with operational details.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and follow instructions
- Read and understand manuals
- Make calculations
- Prioritize work assignments, conceptualize and formulate finished product
- Performance manage suppliers and contractors
- Use various computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Manage database systems
- Manage time and materials efficiently
- Deliver exceptional customer service and achieve department goals
- Adapt and reset goals for a rapidly changing work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field required, or equivalent experience in health care with strong computer skills and knowledge
- 3 to 5 years minimum working in an office setting in Certification/Registration
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Verbal ability to read and understand manuals
- Numerical ability to make calculations
- Proficient and proven knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with database management
- Exceptional customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of formal training in data management, accounting, purchasing, or office management
- Trained in the use of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
- 5 or more years working as an office manager or department assistant in a healthcare environment
