Responsibilities

  • Supports Lakewood Health System Medical Marketplace customers by coordinating patient intake, insurance authorizations, order processing, and follow-up communications.
  • Educates patients on safe and effective use of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures accurate documentation and insurance claims.
  • Collaborates with providers and internal teams.
  • Supports retail store operations while maintaining professionalism, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

  • Experience with home medical equipment.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Desire to work as part of a high-functioning team.
  • Respect for confidentiality and professional integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong internal and external customer service skills.

Pay

The starting wage reflects our compensation philosophy, taking into account experience, education, certifications and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the comprehensive and rewarding compensation package we're proud to provide!

Schedule

This is a full-time position, working 72 hours every two weeks between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and as assigned.
