Home Health Occupational Therapist Part Time

Responsibilities

• Assess, teach, and deliver therapy interventions according to physician-directed home health plans.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient mobility, strength, and function.
• Interpret tests and develop personalized plans of care.
• Provide therapy services, maintaining thorough documentation to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers.
• Discharge planning, including educating patients on home exercises.
• Supervise personnel such as OT Assistants and Home Health Aides.
• Complete assessments like OASIS where permitted.

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Unrestricted state license as an OT
• Valid CPR
• Driver’s license
• Proof of insurance

Preferred

• Home health therapy experience
• OASIS documentation knowledge
