About the role
An Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed to assess, teach, and deliver therapy interventions based on physician directives and home health plans.
Responsibilities
- Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of mobility, strength, and function
- Developing and updating individual treatment plans
- Providing therapy services aligned with physician orders
- Maintaining documentation for progress and modifying goals as necessary
- Collaborating with healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers to ensure optimal care
- Supervisory duties may include overseeing other personnel such as OT Assistants and Home Health Aides
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license
- CPR certification
