Home Delivery Coordinator/ Logistics (LOCAL ONLY)

Responsibilities

• Cooking and preparing meal boxes
• Setting up new clients in the system
• Training volunteers to facilitate the delivery of food and meal boxes
• Managing logistics for offsite food banks and donation pickups

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Familiarity with logistics software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Customer service-oriented mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Delivery Oversight

• Supervise and organize deliveries and pickups at the food bank
• Manage delivery drives, route coordination systems, and grocery rescue volunteers

Volunteer Management

• Recruit, train, and mobilize volunteer drivers
• Create training materials for new and existing volunteers
• Schedule volunteers and manage vehicle logistics
• Oversight the maintenance of delivery vehicles
