About the role
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for weekend home care services.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare meals tailored to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Offer companionship and engage in activities suited to individual interests.
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain accurate documentation of care activities and client condition changes.
- Adhere to the care plan, ensure confidentiality, and report concerns such as abuse or neglect.
- Use specified equipment like blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes as needed.
Qualifications
- Current certification with DFS.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Effective communication skills, including reading and following instructions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks like lifting and standing.
- Compassionate attitude toward patient care.
