About the role

Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, providing direct patient care in clients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene, transfers, and ambulation
• Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises
• Preparing meals per dietary needs
• Offering companionship and engaging activities
• Performing light housekeeping
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes in client condition
• Adhering to the plan of care and privacy regulations

Qualifications

• Current certification
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting
• Empathetic attitude towards patients

Requirements

• Equipment used includes blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and dealing with varied patient needs and environments
• Role involves travel within a designated area, with no guaranteed hours or assignment length
• Must demonstrate dependability and adapt to client and family values while respecting confidentiality and patient rights
