Home Care CNA - Weekends Only

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, shaving, hair, and mouth care.
• Support transfers, repositioning, and ambulation to ensure client safety.
• Administer basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary requirements.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities tailored to their interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report changes in client condition.
• Complete tasks using EVV systems and adhere to the care plan; never administer medications.
• Uphold confidentiality, privacy, and patient rights while ensuring safety and quality care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Maintain current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care.

Must be dependable, adaptable to client and family needs, and willing to travel within designated areas. Physical demands include handling various patient conditions and environments. This role involves teamwork to ensure high-quality home care services.
