About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide home care services on weekends, assisting patients in their residences.
Responsibilities
- Providing personal hygiene care such as bathing, shaving, hair, and mouth care.
- Assisting with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
- Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
- Preparing meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
- Offering companionship and engaging in activities suited to individual interests.
- Performing light housekeeping duties.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting changes in patient condition.
- Following the plan of care and completing tasks via EVV systems.
- Demonstrating dependability, punctuality, and adaptability to client and family values.
- Upholding confidentiality, patient rights, and reporting any concerns or abuse.
Qualifications
- Current certification with DFS.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Effective communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and standing.
- Sympathetic attitude toward patient care.
