Home Care CNA - Weekends Only

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation assistance.
• Administer basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals aligned with client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities suited to their interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain accurate care records.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or psychosocial conditions.
• Follow the care plan, complete EVV documentation, and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Assist clients in maintaining independence within their capabilities.
• Use equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes as directed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Maintain valid certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills with ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care.
