About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, providing direct patient care in clients' residences.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal hygiene, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Delivering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises
- Preparing meals per dietary needs
- Offering companionship and engaging activities
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes in patient conditions
- Adhering to the Plan of Care and completing tasks via EVV app
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and safety, and reporting concerns or abuse
Qualifications
- Maintaining DFS certification
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks
Requirements
- Effective communication skills
- Physical ability to lift approximately 50 lbs
- Compassionate attitude
- Ability to assist patients with mobility and other care needs within varied client environments
- Travel within a specified area is required
