About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, providing care to patients in their residences.
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care and assistance with personal hygiene
- Helping with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
- Preparing meals considering dietary needs
- Offering companionship and engaging activities
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes in patient condition
- Adhering to the Plan of Care and completing tasks via EVV systems
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and safety
- Not administering medications
Requirements
- Maintaining certification with DFS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Physical capability to lift approximately 50 lbs
- Effective communication skills
- Compassionate attitude towards patient care
- Adaptability to various patient needs and environments
- Ability to travel within designated areas
- Physical tasks involve lifting, bending, and standing
- Dependability and teamwork to ensure high-quality care
