About the role
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services on weekends, providing direct patient care in clients' residences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities
- Supporting transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Providing basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
- Preparing meals considering client preferences and dietary needs
- Offering companionship and engaging in activities based on individual interests
- Performing light housekeeping duties
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes in clients' conditions
- Completing tasks via EVV app and ensuring compliance with care plans
- Upholding patient confidentiality, privacy, and rights
- Responding promptly to concerns or issues and notifying supervisors of any abuse or unsafe conditions
Qualifications and Skills
- Maintaining valid DFS certification
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Compassionate attitude towards patient care
This role requires physical activity, travel within designated areas, and adherence to all policies and care plans.
