About the role
The Hiring Our Heroes AI & Engineering Fellowship at Deloitte is designed for Transitioning Military members who wish to leverage their military professional experience in an AI & Engineering practice. Fellows will gain hands-on experience with industry leaders addressing complex challenges for clients.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Deloitte-designed learning experiences to prepare for a client service environment
- Engage in project shadowing to gain practical insights into the work of engineering teams
- Work on integrated/verticalized sector solutions in software, data, AI, network, and hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with clients to transform mission-critical operations using the latest advancements in engineering and technology
- Contribute to the modernization of technology and data platforms tailored to meet each client's unique needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Active Duty member in the US Armed Forces with authorization to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program by their respective command
- Enrolled in Hiring Our Heroes foundation and eligible to participate in the fellowship program
- Likely to be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in application development or software development
- Exposure to artificial intelligence through academic coursework, certifications, internships, or professional experience
Benefits
Fellows will have the opportunity to transition careers with confidence after successfully completing the 12-week fellowship program. They may also be considered for a full-time role upon completion.
