About the role

The Hiring Our Heroes AI & Engineering Fellowship at Deloitte is designed for Transitioning Military members who wish to leverage their military experience in an AI & Engineering practice. Fellows will gain hands-on experience with industry leaders and participate in a 12-week program that includes Deloitte-designed learning experiences and project shadowing.

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in Deloitte’s AI & Engineering practice, addressing complex challenges for clients.
• Participate in a 12-week fellowship program while remaining employed by the Military.
• Receive a Deloitte-designed learning experience to prepare for a client service environment.
• Gain exposure to cutting-edge engineering capabilities and modernize technology & data platforms.
• Be considered for a full-time role upon successful completion of the fellowship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Duty members in the US Armed Forces with authorization to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program by their respective command
• Enrolled in Hiring Our Heroes foundation and eligible to participate in the fellowship program
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in application development or software development
• Exposure to artificial intelligence through academic coursework, certifications, internships, or professional experience

Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
