Hiring our Heroes Fellowship (12-week program) - AI & Engineering

About the role

The Hiring Our Heroes AI & Engineering Fellowship at Deloitte is designed for transitioning military professionals who wish to leverage their military experience in the corporate world. Fellows will gain hands-on experience in the AI & Engineering practice, working on projects that address complex client challenges.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cutting-edge engineering projects within the AI & Engineering practice.
• Gain exposure to industry leaders and their work on mission-critical operations.
• Engage in project shadowing to understand client service environments.
• Prepare for a client service career through a Deloitte-designed learning experience.
• Have the potential to transition to a full-time role upon successful completion of the fellowship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Duty member in the US Armed Forces with authorization to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program by their respective command
• Enrolled in Hiring Our Heroes foundation and eligible to participate in the fellowship program
• Likely to be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Preferred

• 2+ years of experience in application development or software development
• Exposure to artificial intelligence through academic coursework, certifications, internships, or professional experience
