About the role

The Hiring Our Heroes AI & Engineering Fellowship at Deloitte is an immersive 12-week program designed for transitioning military members who wish to leverage their military experience in the corporate world. Fellows will gain hands-on experience in the AI & Engineering practice, working alongside industry leaders on complex client challenges.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project shadowing to gain insight into client service environments
• Engage with cutting-edge engineering projects that transform mission-critical operations
• Learn from Deloitte’s expert team on building, deploying, and operating integrated/verticalized sector solutions
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Deloitte’s delivery models tailored to meet individual client needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Duty member in the US Armed Forces with authorization to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program by their respective command
• Enrolled in Hiring Our Heroes foundation and eligible to participate in the fellowship program
• Likely to be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in application development or software development
• Exposure to artificial intelligence through academic coursework, certifications, internships, or professional experience

Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
