About the role
The Hiring Our Heroes AI & Engineering Fellowship at Deloitte is an immersive 12-week program designed for transitioning military members. Fellows gain hands-on experience in the AI & Engineering practice, working on projects that align with industry leaders.
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to cutting-edge engineering practices and solutions in software, data, AI, network, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in project shadowing to understand client service environments and prepare for a career transition.
- Work on integrated/verticalized sector solutions that transform mission-critical operations for clients.
- Engage with Deloitte’s team of experts to learn about modernizing technology and data platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Active Duty members in the US Armed Forces with authorization to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program by their respective command
- Enrolled in Hiring Our Heroes foundation and eligible to participate in the fellowship program
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in application development or software development
- Exposure to artificial intelligence through academic coursework, certifications, internships, or professional experience
