About the role

The Hiring Our Heroes AI & Engineering Fellowship at Deloitte is an immersive 12-week program designed for transitioning military professionals. Fellows gain hands-on experience in the AI & Engineering practice, working alongside industry leaders on complex client challenges.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project shadowing to gain exposure to client service environments
• Engage in Deloitte-designed learning experiences to prepare for a client service career
• Work on integrated/verticalized sector solutions in software, data, AI, network, and hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering teams to transform mission-critical operations and modernize technology & data platforms
• Adapt to various delivery models tailored to meet each client's unique needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Duty member in the US Armed Forces with authorization to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program by their respective command
• Enrolled in Hiring Our Heroes foundation and eligible to participate in the fellowship program
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in application development or software development
• Exposure to artificial intelligence through academic coursework, certifications, internships, or professional experience

Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in relevant technologies and programming languages
