About the role

The Hiring Our Heroes AI & Engineering Fellowship at Deloitte is designed for Transitioning Military members who wish to leverage their military experience in an AI & Engineering practice. Fellows will gain hands-on experience with industry leaders addressing complex client challenges.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Deloitte-designed learning experiences to prepare for a client service environment
• Gain exposure to cutting-edge engineering capabilities in software, data, AI, network, and hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Engage in project shadowing to understand the integration of engineering for business advantage
• Work on integrated/verticalized sector solutions that transform mission-critical operations
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver tailored solutions meeting each client's unique requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Duty members in the US Armed Forces with authorization to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program by their respective command
• Enrolled in Hiring Our Heroes foundation and eligible to participate in the fellowship program
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in application development or software development
• Exposure to artificial intelligence through academic coursework, certifications, internships, or professional experience

Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
